UPDATE: Fortigate vendor detected application data garbled characters

Since the original post is now locked, I thought I’d provide an update in case anyone stumbles across the original thread.

Fortinet confirmed that the garbled data in the vendor application fields is a bug and the fix should be include in FortiOS 7.4.8
